Weeip Park Nature Playground Opens for the School Holidays

The Nature Playground, with funding from the Stefanelli Family and Lotterywest, has opened in time for the October school holidays.

With a nature theme, the playground has active play spaces that include a large slide, and larger than life insects. See if you and the children can spot the Spoon winged Lacewing, Green burrowing bee, Sluggish snout nosed Katydid, Dawsons burrowing bee, Carthaid moth lava, Jewel Beetle and the Western Jewell butterfly.

For the older children there is a basketball area, climbing wall and an oval to run around and kick a ball.

Weeip Park is located between Morrison Road and Junction Parade, east of the City of Swan Administration building.
