Trackside Entrance & Grandstand Way Update

Construction of Trackside Entrance is now substantially complete, with the connection to Morrison Rd waiting on service authorities to lower their infrastructure – this could take 12 months. The construction fences should be removed by August, however the road will have temporary bollards to stop vehicle traffic due to there being no suitable vehicle turning at the end of Trackside Entrance.

The sewer and water works have been completed on Grandstand Way, detailed design has commenced. Detailed design includes Western Power designing and relocating its infrastructure, this process can take over 12 months. It is anticipated that roadworks will commence in the 2025/26 financial year, with connection to Morrison Road post service authorities undertaking their infrastructure relocation.
